Export Attendees to CSV or JSON

The full guest list for any event, downloaded in seconds. CSV for spreadsheets and email tools. JSON for integrations and custom workflows. No exports queue, no support ticket, no upsell.

Your attendee list belongs to you

Other ticketing platforms treat your guest list like leverage. They bury exports behind paywalls, gate them by plan tier, or limit you to a stripped-down summary so you have to keep coming back to their dashboard. The data you collected, the customers you paid to acquire — held hostage to keep you on their platform.

Cohost takes the opposite stance. Every attendee, every order, every field you've collected is yours to download whenever you want, in whatever format suits the job. One click for a CSV you can drop into a spreadsheet. One click for JSON that plugs straight into your CRM, your email tool, or your custom integration. No friction, no fees, no fine print.

One click, full attendee list

From any event's attendees page, hit the download button and pick your format. The export contains every attendee — name, email, phone, ticket type, order number, check-in status, and the timestamp they were added — in one file, ready in seconds.

No background job, no "we'll email you when it's ready," no row limit. Small events, sold-out arenas, multi-day festivals — the export works the same way.

CSV for spreadsheets and email tools

Pick CSV when you want to open the list in Excel, Google Sheets, or Numbers — or upload it to Mailchimp, Klaviyo, ConvertKit, or any email platform that takes a contact import. Columns are clean, UTF-8, and named the way you'd expect, so there's no remapping required on the other side.

Post-event thank-you campaigns, no-show win-back sequences, early-bird offers to past attendees — every workflow that starts with "import this list" starts with one CSV download from Cohost.

JSON for integrations and custom workflows

Pick JSON when you're handing the data to code. CRM sync scripts, Zapier and Make workflows, custom analytics pipelines, internal dashboards — JSON gives you the same fields as the CSV with proper types, nested objects, and an array of barcodes per attendee, so you don't have to parse anything yourself.

Combine the JSON export with the Cohost API for fully automated workflows, or use it as a one-off snapshot when you just need to get data into another system fast.

Every field you need, none of the noise

The export includes the attendee's name, email, phone, ticket type and ticket ID, order number and order ID, check-in status, barcodes, and the date they were added. Enough detail for a CRM record, enough context for an audit, enough structure to power any post-event flow you can think of.

Need a different cut of the data? Filter on the attendees page first — by ticket type, by search query — and the visible list is the list you can act on. For deeper slices, the API gives you the same data with full query control.

Common questions

How do I export attendees for an event?

Open the event, go to the Attendees tab, and click the download icon in the toolbar. Pick CSV or JSON and the file downloads immediately. No queue, no email, no waiting.

What's the difference between the CSV and JSON exports?

Both contain the same attendee data. CSV is a flat spreadsheet format — best for opening in Excel or Google Sheets, or importing into email platforms. JSON is structured for code — best for CRM sync scripts, Zapier or Make workflows, and any custom integration.

What fields are included in the export?

Name, email, phone, ticket type, ticket ID, order number, order ID, check-in status, barcodes, and the date the attendee was added. Enough to populate a CRM record, run an email campaign, or reconcile post-event reporting.

Is there a limit on how many attendees I can export?

No. The export works for events with one attendee or fifty thousand, and there's no monthly cap on how often you can run it. Your data is always available to you.

Does the export include cancelled or refunded attendees?

Yes. Every attendee on the list — attending, checked-in, cancelled, refunded — is included so you have a complete record. Filter on the attendees page first if you only want a specific status.

Can I automate exports through the API?

Yes. The same data is available through the Cohost API, so you can sync attendees to your CRM, trigger email workflows, or power a custom dashboard automatically. See the <a href="/features/api-first">API-first</a> page for details.

Is this different from the barcode export?

Yes. The barcode export gives you one row per barcode, designed for printing badges and pre-loading scanners. The attendee export gives you one row per attendee with their full profile — designed for CRM sync, email campaigns, and integrations.

Is attendee export available on every plan?

Yes. Exporting your attendee list is a baseline capability — it's not gated behind a higher tier, an add-on, or a per-export fee. Your data is yours on every plan.
