API-First Ticketing

Every feature in Cohost is available through the API. Build a fully custom ticketing experience on your own stack, or start fast with our open-source Next.js template.

Most ticketing platforms give you a widget and a prayer. Cohost was designed API-first from day one — the dashboard and every integration use the same public API you get access to. That means anything we can do, you can do.

Start in minutes with our open-source Next.js starter

Clone our free, open-source Next.js ticketing template and have a fully branded event page running in minutes. It handles ticket selection, checkout, and order confirmation out of the box — customize the design, deploy to Vercel, and you're live. No lock-in, no license fees, just code you own.

Works with the tools you already use

Running your site on Webflow, Wix, WordPress, or Squarespace? Cohost's API and embeddable components drop right in. Fetch events, render ticket selectors, and process orders without leaving your existing platform. No migration required — keep your site, add ticketing.

Official SDKs for Node.js and React

The cohost-js SDK gives you typed Node.js and React packages that wrap the full API. Use the Node.js SDK for server-side integrations — orders, attendees, webhooks, reporting — and the React SDK to drop pre-built ticket selectors and checkout flows into any React app. Both are open source.

Full control, not just endpoints

The API covers everything: events, ticket types, orders, attendees, check-in, dynamic pricing, promo codes, and reporting. Build custom workflows, connect to your CRM, automate post-event follow-ups, or power a mobile app — all from the same API the Cohost dashboard uses.

Common questions

Do I need to be a developer to use Cohost?

No. The Cohost dashboard gives you everything you need without writing code. The API is there for teams that want deeper customization or need to integrate ticketing into an existing platform.

What is the Next.js starter app?

It's a free, open-source Next.js application (github.com/cohostvip/cohost-nextjs) that connects to your Cohost account via the API. It gives you a fully functional event page with ticket selection, checkout, and order confirmation that you can customize and deploy on your own domain.

Can I use Cohost with Webflow, Wix, or WordPress?

Yes. You can use the API directly, embed Cohost components into your pages, or use the JavaScript SDK to build a custom integration. Your site stays exactly as it is — Cohost handles the ticketing backend.

Is the API the same one the Cohost dashboard uses?

Yes. The dashboard is built on the same public API. There are no hidden internal endpoints — every feature available in the UI is available through the API.

Are there rate limits?

The API has generous rate limits designed for production traffic. Standard plans include more than enough capacity for most event sites, and higher limits are available on request.

Is there an SDK?

Yes. The cohost-js SDK (github.com/cohostvip/cohost-js) includes a Node.js package for server-side work and a React package for building frontend ticket flows. Both are open source, fully typed, and cover the complete API surface.
